About the Game

Batman: Arkham City is the sequel to Batman: Arkham Asylum in 2009. The game runs on the Unreal 3 engine. The screenplay for the game written by Paul Dini.

The main story takes place a year after the events of the first film. Quincy Sharp, who was in the original game Arkham director of the institute, has now become mayor of Gotham City as that landed Joker. Sharp buys a large proportion of poor neighborhoods in Gotham, letting them obestavět walls and all prisoners will be moved to into Arkham City, which is 5 times larger than the Arkham Asylum from the original game. Supervision over this place is entrusted psychiatrist Hugo Strange, who has Arkham City will also make their plans. In the game you will encounter many characters as the original game, so many new ones.

In this part we have freedom of movement throughout Arkham City and we can freely perform major and minor plot tasks. All the gadgets that we know from the first game, we can use from the outset and over time we get a lot of new things.
