About the Game

Buzz Aldrin's Race Into Space is a simulation of the space race between the Americans and the Soviets. The player puts on his role commander of the US or the Soviet space program director, and his job is to ensure that the astronauts or cosmonauts just landed his first State of the moon.

The game begins in the spring of 1957 and the strokes last six months of game time, followed by a move opponents. It is necessary to build a resort (Cape Canaveral or Baikonur), build rockets, train crew, gain greater financial subsidies to build up your reputation - to perform a successful mission and, if possible, be the first one to perform actions such as first flyby of the planet, the first woman in space, etc. and conversely to avoid disasters that reduces prestige. Project Progress informed at the beginning of each round television announcers on pre-recorded movies. The player has to reach the moon exactly twenty years of game time (ie. 40 rounds).
