About the Game
The third part of one of history's most important games for the PC. Doom 3 transports you to a futuristic environment of Mars, where a nameless marine addressing other colossal, for filling the game very substantial mess with teleports demons.
The game is powered by id Tech 3 engine, targeted mainly on portraying the grim atmosphere through the pervasive darkness. Z on which players constantly attacking appearing monsters and strange form of many types of enemies. Levels are present in the SP campaign 27, offering as usual levels of industrial complexes, as well as those from hell.
In terms of gameplay, this shooter from the earlier parts of the series differs mainly conception of the event itself. A further use of sophisticated PDA with reading messages and tasks needed to meet, for frequent access cards and digital codes into other areas. Arsenal allows Marines to carry a basic pistol, shotgun, machine gun, chainsaw, grenades, BFG and pulse a few variants devastating weapons.
The four-year development caused a subsequent hype and become one of the most anticipated games of its time. Reaction players and reviewers were after its release rather contradictory, one game praised to the heavens, others condemned and pointed to a too old-school feel.
In spring 2005, lived to see the Doom 3 expansion pack bearing the name of the Resurrection of Evil, which brought a few coveted innovation.
