Title: Heroes of Might & Magic V
About the Game
Today, the legendary turn-based strategy, this time in the fifth part. That was a turning point in several respects. Besides the fact that it has not developed in the New World Computing, but the Russian Nival Interactive (creators also excellent Etherlords), the game completely shifted into a 3D form. These two facts are fans feared most. Fears but ultimately proved unfounded.
Heroes of Might and Magic V was a game that proudly follow in the footsteps of their predecessors. It is true that after the fourth installment of the game rather game mechanics back to the third, but is generally considered a good move. They're just good old Hom & M.
Write here the principle of the game is like carrying coals to Newcastle, so just in a nutshell. The game combines strategy game with traction fight, all while seasoned RPG elements. So you build your city (with a fixed position on the map), looking for mines, which will then give a much needed raw materials and build your army. Since your opponent is doing the same thing thoroughly, it is only a matter of time, how long will it be before there is a conflict. The fighting then place on a checkerboard field. Your hero who hires urban units for combat, then after fighting (and not only them) gains experience, which then divides between the individual player skills and podschopnosti. After some time, the hero of the first category killer and even his army no longer contains only a few units that gathered somewhere, but is composed of hundreds of carefully selected units.
To play came two EPs - Hammers of Fate, requiring to run a basic game, adding new nation of dwarfs, and campaign and stand-alone Tribes of the East, adding new nation of Orcs and again new campaign.
