About the Game
Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising is an unofficial sequel to Operation Flashpoint Czech Bohemia Interactive, who no longer have the right to use this mark (but continue in a similar vein to his ARMO). The current owners of rights, Codemasters, who disagreed with the BIS, have therefore decided that they will do the second part of ourselves. It is, therefore, modeled after the original game, an open military simulation with an emphasis on realism.
Single-player campaign is engaged in several days of war between the US and China on the island of Skira created by the real island of Kiska, where they found huge oil reserves. The oil is interested in China, which had wasted all their stocks and thus attack and occupy the island, which is currently occupied Russia. It asks for help and sending the US fleet is responsible for repopulation of the island. Skira has an area of approximately 278 km square.
The game is presented as a realistic simulation, so death can occur from a single shot. Weapons behave according to physical laws, so bullets fly a ballistic curve and the actual speed. All objects are destructible in the game.
The game features over 70 weapons, and, of course, can not be missing vehicle. Those in the game several tens both those moving on the ground (jeeps, APCs, tanks ...) and after the water and air and all of them are operable.
