Title: Operation Flashpoint: Red River
Developer: Codemasters Action Studio
About the Game
Red River is an indirect continuation of Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising. The story takes place in the Asian Tajikistan. In 2013 there will start a civil war and the US send their army to solve it. Bordering China has problems with it and prompt the US to leave. They obviously reject a war is not long to wait.
Unlike Dragon Rising Red River is no longer presented as a simulation, but leans toward the arcade, but here it only takes one hit to death. There is a choice of four classes of soldiers - Rifleman, Grenadier, Automatic Rifleman and scout. Playing for each class unlocks unlocks (eg. New weapons), perks and attachments (eg. Different kinds of sights). Control of vehicles has also been largely removed, leaving only the opportunity to drive a jeep, a tank and helicopter we look. Hectoring comrades has been simplified and is now done much more intuitively.
Total game contains ten chapters, in which the player assumes the skin US Marine. The game can also undergo cooperatively with three other players. Classic competitive multiplayer is missing.
