About the Game

The first episode of Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45 has brought to almost stagnant water categories shooter game, set in a period of war, the proper draft. He was successful, thanks to a realistic interpretation of the bloodiest conflicts in modern history WW2, where each player's mistake was ruthlessly punished. Creators of Tripwire Interactive counted perhaps everything - Overcharge, aiming, sprint and cooperation between team members. Only the perfect interplay of these aspects could be successful.

For the sequel, bearing the title Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad, is also an especially multiplayer action FPS and as the subtitle suggests, there is a second world war, with fighting lumped on the Eastern Front. On the one hand, in the meantime undefeated, technically advanced German war machine, on the other hand numerically larger Soviet army, determined at all costs to keep the city bearing the name of its supreme commander. Everything that makes this game original, should be maintained in the second part. There is a need for coordination for the successful progress through the game, aiming through sights (for sure hit), the need to pay attention to the number of rounds in the magazine or the need to disassemble a heavy machine gun and rely on a solid substrate. In addition, you have to reckon with ballistic curve zone of action (intervention into the hands of the gun can fire) or controlled tanks at different positions.

The game is loaded many fundamental innovations. It is all about adding a typically single-player campaign, skirmish mode (with computer-controlled characters), detailed statistics, the development of controlled characters (rank, medals, status, achievements), the possibility of better and more accurate weapons, support LAN, RO TV 2.0 (creation of videos, 3 perspectives: its own view of the person, third person, free camera) software for moderskou community protection against cheating, maps up to 64 players, new modes (Territory, Countdown, Firefight, Conquest), or maps to actual realities (Grain Elevator).

Territory - the classic mode of defense / attack with a new level of aggression defenders when successful defense hindered point reduces the recharge time for attackers.

Countdown - A player starts with one life and the need to meet the targets, after killing respawn is possible, but only after reaching these time of the tasks.

Firefight - Mode that its concept is almost identical to Deathmatch.
