Title: SteamWorld Dig
Genre: Action, Adventure, Indie
About the Game
Rusty is a robot that went with the pickaxe in hand to a small town in the desert named Tumbleton that his uncle took over operation of the local mine. But deep beneath the city is not only precious stones, but also the remains of an extinct civilization far more advanced than the current robot townspeople. The only way to find out more is to dig as deep as possible.
SteamWorld Dig combines steampunk styling and western. This is a platformer in which the player's task is to dig as deep underground. It is necessary to watch out for dangerous objects and creatures that live underground. Mined for gems can buy better equipment. Special rooms that need to uncover, then include upgrades to Rusty allow progress deeper into the ground.
The game was originally released in 2013 for Nintendo 3DS and later the same year on the PC. In 2014, it was ported to the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
