About the Game

Vietcong's wartime actions set during the Vietnam War - the story begins in 1967. The locks you into Sergeant Steve R. Hawkins, who just flies into the American camp Nui Pek located in one of the most dangerous places in Vietnam, near Ho Chi Minh Trail. Hawkins has replaced the deceased Sergeant Douglas Warren, who was killed in action.

As a sergeant, you will command a smaller team, with whom (but sometimes not) will perform a variety of missions in the dense Vietnamese jungle. It features the aboriginal interpreter and guide Le Duy Nhut, rough Hornster gunner, radioman Defort, a demolition expert Bronson and indispensable medic Crocker. Before each mission you go through the briefing at the base Nui Pek, where you also have your dugout, where you can listen to contemporary radio with enthusiastic American broadcaster or view information on weapons and enemies. In 12 missions you'll benefit inter alia artillery support, simple commands own team and a lot of friendly and hostile weapons. You will experience night raids, reconnaissance of enemy system of underground tunnels or defend their own camp from intruders. The authors of the game gave great job with the processing of the jungle, which modeled the photos from their trip to Vietnam.
